$ 170K -$180K base + 40% target bonus (Open to discussion for the right candidate)

A leading national wealth management firm is searching for a seasoned leader to spearhead its High Net Worth (HNW) and Ultra-High Net Worth (UHNW) planning and investment strategy. As -Director, HNW Advisory & Investment Strategy, you'll serve as the strategic thought partner and technical expert for financial advisors working with clients in the $5MM+ segment.

This is a rare opportunity to help build and lead a sophisticated HNW advisory platform-integrating portfolio construction, advanced planning, and alternative investments into a consultative, end-to-end client experience.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  
• Partner with financial advisors to design and deliver high-touch, customized solutions for HNW and UHNW clients.
  
• Lead planning conversations around tax mitigation, estate planning, wealth transfer, philanthropic giving, and risk management.
  
• Provide strategic insights on portfolio construction, alternative investments, and asset allocation tailored to complex wealth needs.
  
• Manage and develop a team of junior planners; guide their technical development and client-facing capabilities.
  
• Work cross-functionally with internal partners and external stakeholders including BlackRock, and Due Diligence to optimize advisory solutions.

  Who You Are
  
  
  • 
    
  • CFP required. CFP + CFA, CPWA, or CEP strongly preferred.
    
  • Significant expertise serving HNW/UHNW clients with complex financial lives.
    
  • Proven track record of managing and mentoring planning teams in a collaborative environment.
    
  • Strong executive presence and ability to communicate complex strategies with clarity to advisors and clients.
    
  • Ability to stay ahead of market trends, legislation, and emerging products to inform advisor recommendations.
