Buckeye Partners is currently seeking a Manager, Terminal Marketing
with petroleum industry experience and the ability to interpret
finance/accounting statements to join our growing team in Houston,
TX!
Role Summary:
The Manager, Terminal Marketing role is responsible for supporting
business development efforts and managing strategic growth and
acquisition efforts to maximize the contribution made by terminal
operations to overall corporate objectives.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include:
?Budget Management. Developing terminal budgets and managing
revenue streams for all assigned terminals.
?Customer Service. Ensuring that Buckeye is providing exceptional
customer service to all our customers and developing and
implementing any customer service enhancements that may better
maintain and grow our existing core business.
?Identifying New Business Opportunities. Interacting with internal
departments such as Terminal Operations, Engineering, Scheduling
and Accounting on a daily basis to stay in the loop on current
status of customers and assets and develop and implement new
business opportunities with respect to terminal facilities.
?Acquisition Analysis. Assisting Corporate Development with
identification of potential complementary terminal acquisitions and
acquisition analysis.
?Reporting. Identify and evaluating business trends for budgeting
and reporting to Senior Management.
?And other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
?Bachelor?s Degree required, preferably in Business or other,
related discipline
?MBA preferred
?5+ years of relevant, petroleum industry experience
?Experience in terminalling required
?Significant travel is required.
Certificates & Licenses:
?None required
Other Skills, Attributes and Abilities:
?The ability to interpret finance/accounting statements is
critical.
?An understanding of operations, marketing, finance, accounting and
legal issues is required.
?Ability to lead, motivate and provide long-term strategy and
direction is key.
?Excellent communications skills (oral and written) within all
levels (field employee to board director) is vital.
?Good leadership and organizational skills are critical. We are an
