Summary:
We are seeking a Sr. SCCM/MECM Engineer to lead the design, architecture, and governance of multiple Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM) environments supporting a major IT/OT segmentation initiative. This role requires deep expertise in enterprise systems management, automation, patch governance, and domain segregation strategies. The ideal candidate will have experience working across multiple distinct SCCM environments.

Key Qualifications:

8+ years of experience in enterprise systems management with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM)
Proven experience designing, scaling, and managing multi-console SCCM implementations
Extensive experience leading patch management strategies, release governance, and automation across hybrid environments
Deep understanding of Windows server and desktop infrastructure, Active Directory (including GPO design and troubleshooting), and domain separation principles
Experience with Autopilot and co-management strategies (Intune/MECM hybrid deployments)
Proficient in scripting and automation (PowerShell mandatory; VBScript or other scripting experience a plus)
Prior experience supporting compliance-driven environments such as NERC-CIP is highly desirable
Demonstrated success leading projects that segregate IT and OT environments, or similar security-critical domains
Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills with ability to translate technical complexity to non-technical audiences


Key Responsibilities: Perform all aspects of Level 3 Engineering, management, administration and troubleshooting of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).
Assist application delivery teams with global deployment strategy, configuration and definition of guidelines.
Drive the process automation of operational items for the team, including maintaining an improving DR fail-over routines and orchestration processes in place.
Perform quality assurance of all changes before they are implemented in the production environment.
Provide day-to-day operational support for Hyper-V, Windows Server and Active Directory.
Collaborates with business, information security, database and application development teams to define and design scope for each project.
Works closely with Architecture and other teams on design and engineering of new solutions.
Delivers support/ engineering which includes design, system upgrades, maintenance and enhancements, new implementations and solutions, root cause analysis and resolving performance issues.
Performs systems administration activities including testing, general troubleshooting, patches, upgrades and performance tuning.
